Our Two Cents

Banks are failing. Our government has been taking over large companies. Gas prices are sky-rocketing. Food bills have increased. Heating and cooling our homes is now more expensive. With all of the turmoil in the economy, do you have financial peace?

Tim and I are closer thanks to Dave Ramsey. Aside from the huge medical debt that we incurred in 2007, we will owe a very small mortgage and a van payment at the end of 2008. The economic woes have made us uncomfortable, but I thank God that we don’t owe several thousand dollars to credit card companies.

I really like Dave Ramsey and his debt snowball plan. If you’ve never read one of his books, pick one up today and check it out. He gives common sense information about how to pare down your debt and takes a look at budgeting.
