The one thing I wish Screened had that it doesn't is the ability to magnify the image for the customer.  If the image is detailed it's really difficult to see with the largest sized image they have.  Sometimes it's even difficult to read.

    Just a suggestion.  Smile

Can't YOU upload a "magnified" view of part of the image?  I took this idea from Teesed or Daniel, or maybe Blipfish. . .back when I first started with CP and used the image of a magnifying glass laid over my work to give a close-up look:

    or

It is totally "faked" of course. . .

I am not a customer of Screened at this time and must admit I do not know their capacity for having alternate images displayed to the potential customer, but it is a suggestion I hope is helpful for you.\

Hi Ann, thanks for your response, I've been sick all day and am still a little woozy.  Not exactly sure how this magnified picture would work but it sounds like it would take two pics per image, 1 magnified 1 not?  I'm not sure where the magnified image would go since there is no place to put it that I can see.  I might be confused here so please forgive me if I am.  In any case I have more images from cp to upload then I care to even think about, on dial-up it could take months and months.  I'll keep loading as I have time at screened since the few sales have shown some potential for the future but for the most part I'm concentrating on zazzle.  I just don't want to put all my eggs in one basket and get burned again.  I noticed that screened does have the magnify image like zazzle on the front page (point with arrow and it magnifies) maybe they'll put that in for the other images as well.

    Thanks again for your response.

oooH!  Sorry you're not feeling well, Sydneybean!

Dial up is no fun when you have images to upload.  And the "magnified" image in my Shops was uploaded to Photobucket and inserted at the top of the Cafe Press page with a link just like the one I posted above, using HTML in the Section Description box.

Glad to read that there is an easier way with the Screened "point with arrow and it magnifies" deal.. .

Sometimes, although we are proud of our work, if you have a nice BIG image uploaded for customers to appreciate, you also have to deal with nefarious people who will snag that image to use on "return address labels" and sell them on eBay, etc., etc., etc.

So, sometimes it is best to just go with what is available and trust that your potential customers find you.

Take care of yourself. . .get well, that is your prime directive!  Good luck with the Shop.
