Shopkeeper? Company owner? Icon? Who the hella is it? Take a guess in the comment section…. I’ll reveal the person’s identity next week!
The last POD’er? None other than our own lovely JenL! Did you catch the clues? Her site is Designs By JenL… the CafePress address for her shop ends with lovejml. That’s why the words/phrases “designs by” and “love” were in quotes!
So who’s the shopkeeper this week?
Awwwwww! Ain’t she just the cutest thing? Don’t be draggin’ yer butt when you try to guess the shopkeeper! The clues are right before your eyes…. none of them are hidden… I swear!
What delight did I find on YouTube this week? NOTE: There’s a small commercial at the end, but I couldn’t help myself! I love this bird!
Ok….. what awful joke did one of my “friends” send me this week?
Bad Day!
A woman was having a really bad day at the roulette tables in Las Vegas. Completely upset, she cries, “I’ve had horrible luck all day! What in the world should I do now? I’m down to my last $100!”
An elderly gentleman next to her calmly suggested, “I don’t know… Why don’t you try playing your age?”
He walked away but moments later, he was intrigued to hear a great commotion at the roulette table. Maybe, she won!
After rushing back to the table and pushing his way through the crowd, he was stunned to see the lady lying limp on the floor, with the table operator kneeling over her.
He asked, “What happened? Is she all right?”
The operator replied, “I don’t know…. She put all her money on 29. When 36 came up she fainted!”
The weekend is for relaxation, but everyone still has to be fed. Here’s an easy recipe to try!
Easy Beef Stew
Ingredients:
2 lbs. beef stew meat
4-5 medium red potatoes
1/3 cup flour
14 oz. can diced tomatoes (undrained)
3 cups frozen stir fry onions and bell peppers
2 cups water
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Wash potatoes and cut into quarters. Place potatoes in the bottom of a 4 quart crockpot.
2. Mix flour, salt and pepper. Toss beef in mixture until well coated. Add to crockpot.
3. Add tomatoes and water. Stir.
4. Cover crockpot. Cook on low for 7-8 hours until beef and potatoes are tender.
5. Add stir fry vegetables. Stir.
6. Cover crockpot. Cook on low for 45 minutes or until vegetables are hot and tender. Serves 4-6.

Awww, look how cute you are! (Yes, I know who)
I Know, I Know!!!
