Ok, boys and girls! Time to mosey on over to Imagekind and check out their snazzy new artwork pages. They’ve reworked the artwork page to make shopping easier for their customers by making it quicker to shop for products. The changes include the following:

1. Satisfaction Guarantee prominently posted. 

2. Single Click Shopping for those customers who don’t need to wade through all of the options.

3. No more going from page to page to choose options. Customers can now choose the product (print, canvas or greeting card) on the same page!

4. Displays a few more pieces of art from that artist’s gallery.

5. Quicker load time.

6. Related tags, colors and categories are featured on the page to help customers find the perfect piece.

10 images will be chosen to advance to the final selection. The 10 images will be reviewed by a panel, and one grand prize winner will be selected from the 10, along with one 2nd prize winner and 8 runners up.   Deadline for entries is February 20th, 2009 at 10pm PST. Only entries received before the deadline will be accepted.

Lately, there has been a discussion among the artists of ImageKind about the need for true archival backing substrate. The company has been listening and announced today that, effective immediately, they will be utilizing an archival board as their standard default backing for all custom framed prints. This archival mounting upgrade requires a nominal price increase which will be applied to the frame fitting charges. This will not affect the base prices.
